Savoury Muffins

As well as making a batch of brownies with a fraction of the obscene amount of free chocolate I got from work, I’ve baked these Pear, Blue Cheese & Walnut Savoury Muffins.

After having a delicious plate of blue cheese with caramelised walnuts & honey at Porta in Altrincham last night, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the one remaining pear and small bit of blue cheese left in my fridge… pop them into a muffin mix with some chopped walnuts, and a cheddar crumble on top.

Can’t wait to try them for lunch today with a fresh salad.
