Cooking on Gas

Earlier in the week our oven decided to stop working and I feel a bit like a child without one of its favourite toys to play with!

Of course it’s easy enough to still cook without it but I do feel a bit lost… thankfully it is being repaired tomorrow (we hope) so all will be well again in time for the weekend 🙏🏼

So tonight’s hob-cooked dinner is Chicken with Preserved Lemons & Olives (inspired by the traditional Moroccan tagine). Served with Spiced Rice with Toasted Flaked Almonds and one of my favourite sides – Griddled Courgette with Lemon, Thyme & Fresh Mint.
