This is something to include in what I like to call ‘Little Meze’ – toasted almonds with olive oil, chilli flakes, rosemary* and sea salt.
A perfect appetiser alongside the usual suspects (ie. olives, sundried tomatoes) before tucking into something more substantial, they are very moreish and a great accompaniment to a glass of wine or a beer 🍷🍺
*The rosemary was hand picked by my lovely dad from my parents’ garden – he literally turned up on my doorstep clutching a bunch of it as though they were flowers! To be fair, I was as pleased with that as I would have been with a bunch of lilies… 😅
